Implantology
In our practice we offer you the complete range of implant restorations – from the replacement of a single tooth to total restoration. Implants are artificial tooth roots that are firmly anchored in the jawbone. Later, dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges or dentures can be anchored to them. In this way, your own teeth can be replaced in the best possible way. This is because dental implants come very close to natural teeth in both function and appearance. We at the Tübingen dental practice in Loretto can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the provision of implants with dental prostheses as well as implant surgery. In this respect, we perform all surgical procedures in our practice, supported by state-of-the-art equipment, including intraoperative X-ray diagnostics, the surgical microscope and computer tomography (DVT, CBCT). I myself have additional academic training as an implantologist (Master of Science in Oral Implantology, Steinbeis University Berlin) and am a recognised specialist with a focus of activity by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Implantologie (German Society for Implantology) and the Zahnärztekammer Baden-Württemberg (Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Dentists).
Aesthetic dentistry
Of course, the health and optimal function of teeth and gums come first. But dental aesthetics is also becoming more and more important. In our practice in Tübingen, we combine medical and aesthetic dentistry to perfection. In the case of discoloured, twisted or chipped teeth, a great effect can often be achieved with minor measures such as bonding a veneer, i.e. a wafer-thin veneer made of ceramic. Crowns or bridges can be used to stabilise severely damaged or dead teeth. Implants can be used to replace teeth and even toothless jaws can be treated aesthetically. Since not only the teeth but also the harmonious connection to the gums are decisive for a beautiful smile, we can compensate for defects there by means of microsurgery.

If all or at least a large part of the teeth are diseased or in a poor condition, a total restoration can help to restore a beautiful and healthy set of teeth. The reasons that make this necessary are manifold and range from poor oral hygiene to functional problems with severe tooth wear to the fear of visiting the dentist, which has often caused it to be avoided for years.
